A boiler service is an annual inspection performed by a qualified engineer to ensure your boiler is working safely, efficiently, and reliably. During the service, the engineer will check the boiler’s components, test its performance, and clean key parts to maintain efficiency.

What’s Included?

  • Test the gas pressure and/or gas rate of the appliance.
  • Flue and combustion analysis and integrity check.
  • Check that the electrical connections are clean and in good condition.
  • Check that fans and other key components are working as they should.
  • Check that seals are intact.
  • Check that electrodes are in a good condition.
  • Check that safety devices are working correctly.
  • Check that condensate trap is not blocked and clean if necessary.
  • Drain boiler and check expansion vessel pressure, top up as necessary.
  • Clean Magnetic system filter.
  • Check that the integrity of the boiler casing has not been corrupted.
  • Inspect water and gas pipework local to the appliance.
  • Supply electronic certificate for your records.

Before we attend 

  • Your appliance MUST be in good working order otherwise we will not be able to service it. If you are having problems with your appliance please boo a diagnostic / repair visit.
  • The area around the appliance should be clearof any items so that the engineer has appropriate access to the appliance and its ancillaries, including the gas meter. 
  • Ensure that the heating system is cool upon our arrival so that we have sufficient capacity to test the system at the maximum rate.
  • Access will be required to inspect the appliance, gas meter, and also the appliance flue upon the entire length, this includes the flue termination.
  • Parkingis required within 50m of the site. Any parking charges or fines incurred due to inadequate parking will passed on to the customer.
