How much is a boiler service?
A gas boiler service is £109 including VAT. You can add an unvented cylinder service on the same visit for £48, or choose our landlord pack (service and CP12) for £139.
How often should a boiler be serviced?
Once a year. Most manufacturers require an annual service to keep the warranty valid.
How long does a service take?
Usually under an hour, depending on the boiler and its condition.
Which boilers do you service?
All makes and models of domestic gas and LPG boilers, including Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Ideal, Baxi and Viessmann.
What areas do you cover?
Cambridge and villages within about 10 km at the standard price. A small travel surcharge applies further out, up to 20 km.
I’m a landlord. Can you do a gas safety certificate?
Yes. Choose the landlord pack when booking and we’ll service the boiler and complete the CP12 on the same visit for £139.
What if something is wrong with my boiler?
We’ll explain what we found and send you a quote before doing any extra work.
What happens if you find something unsafe?
As Gas Safe engineers we must follow the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations. If an appliance is At Risk or Immediately Dangerous, we label it “Danger Do Not Use”, email you a gas warning notice and, with your permission, turn it off or disconnect it until it’s repaired. If the fault is on the gas meter, the gas emergency service (Cadent, 0800 111 999) needs to attend. The booked visit is still charged, and we quote for any repair. Can I cancel or move my booking?
Yes. You get a full refund with at least 48 hours’ notice.
