Which areas of Cambridgeshire do you cover?
We cover Cambridge and the villages within about 15 miles for installations, including Histon, Cottenham, Sawston, Great Shelford, Waterbeach, Northstowe and Saffron Walden. For servicing and repairs we focus on Cambridge and the nearer villages, so we can reach you quickly.
How much does a boiler service cost?
An annual boiler service starts from £109 including VAT. You can book and pay online and choose a 2-hour arrival slot. Landlord gas safety certificates (CP12) can be added on the same visit.
How much does a new boiler cost?
It depends on the boiler type and how much pipework changes. A like-for-like combi swap is the least expensive. Use our instant boiler estimate for a realistic range, then book a free survey for a fixed written quote.
Can I get a grant for a heat pump?
Yes. Most homeowners in England can get £7,500 off an air source heat pump through the government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme, or up to £9,000 for off-grid homes currently heated by oil or LPG. Heat pumps also currently have 0% VAT. As an MCS-certified installer we apply for the grant on your behalf.
Is a heat pump or a new boiler better for my home?
It depends on your home’s insulation, radiators and budget. We install both, so we’ll give you honest advice after a room-by-room heat loss survey rather than pushing one option.
Are your engineers Gas Safe registered?
Yes. All our gas engineers are Gas Safe registered (registration 623284). We’re also MCS certified for heat pumps and Refcom F-Gas certified for air conditioning.
Do you fix all makes of boiler?
We repair all common makes of gas and LPG boilers, including Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi and Viessmann. We carry common parts on our vans to fix more faults on the first visit.
What are your opening hours?
We’re open Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 4pm. You can book online at any time.
