What is Underfloor Heating?

Underfloor heating (UFH) is a modern and efficient heating system that provides warmth by circulating hot water beneath the floor surface. Unlike traditional radiators, underfloor heating distributes heat evenly across the entire room, creating a comfortable, consistent temperature throughout the space.

Wet Systems – These systems use warm water that is circulated through a network of pipes installed under the floor. The water is typically heated by a boiler or a heat pump. Wet systems are highly efficient, as the lower water temperatures they operate on are perfect for use with renewable heating technologies such as heat pumps.

Electric Systems – We do not install wet systems. Although they can be cheaper to install they can be very expensive to run. These could however work well for smaller areas.

He was professional and explained everything he was doing and has appeared to have done a neat and tidy install replacing some old pipe work and using an existing flue. 						We had a big job with replacement oil powered boiler, hot water tank, removal of water tank in loft and converting to mains water - lots of new pipes and old ones sorted out. Each day a text would come with 35 mins notice of arrival which was useful. Cambs Heating Ltd took 4 days, working hard with extremely pleasant, tidy and professional workers. I really do recommend this company with special thanks to Adam. Beautiful work. Oftec chose our installation as one to randomly check and they were very satisfied with the work.
